PEER PRACTICES

How do other companies solve the same problem?

Explore concrete examples of reusable data, accessible information, and explanations of targets and results.

Three practices, with the evidence

Separate operating peers from useful examples

Business peers

Select peers based on industry, size, business structure and investor audience. Agree the peer group before beginning a diagnostic.

Best-practice examples

A company in a different sector may demonstrate a useful spreadsheet or Q&A format. Such examples are not automatically a fair basis for comparing overall scores.

Examples to follow

For each of the 34 questions, two or three companies that do it well, so an IR team looking for a template can open a real example. This is an evidence-linked reference, not an award or a ranking. Each example has the top score for its question (5, or 4 for O7, which is capped), the examples are spread across sectors and company sizes, and every link was re-opened on the date shown and still showed the practice. An example whose score later falls below the top is removed automatically.
